Chapurin
Igor Chapurin became recognized as a talented theatrical designer. He created costumes and scenographies for countless dramas, ballets and operettas.
In 2004 for the Athens Olympics Igor Chapurin together with Swarovski successfully created costumes for the Russian Olympic champions in artistic gymnastics Alina Kabaeva and Irina Chashina.
In 2005 Igor Chapurin participated at the Paris Prêt-a-Porter fashion week. In recent years Igor Chapurin has been awarded with a series of prizes for his successes in fashion. Russian GQ 2005 Designer of the year, 2007 Elle Style Award, 2010 World Fashion Channel Best Designer award are just a few among many others.
The works of Igor Chapurin today include Prêt-a-porter seasonal and annually haute couture collections, accessories and jewellery lines, bedding collections, limited editions for your own Moscow rubber boutique on Red Square, special American collections and capsules for local mass-market brands.
The designer continues his successful collaboration with the Bolshoi and engages in a whole number of exciting Russian and international fashion and art projects.
